”I never said I disliked you. I just said you were one of my FAVORITE targets. You don’t have to prank people you h a t e , you know. Just those who annoy you from time to time.”
People act ever so slightly differently depending on who they are around. Send me a ◭ and I'll tell you something my character does or would likely do around yours that is unique or specialized to their interactions.
Honestly, it depends on the context of where they are and what they’re doing, but, okay, at Quidditch practice, when James has his real hard-ass captain moments, Marlene does impressions of him when his back is turned. She just generally challenges his authority at practice too. Not because she wanted to be captain herself, because Merlin knows she hates responsibility, but she just doesn’t like him being in a position of power over her. Once they’re off the pitch though, or even, actually, when they’re playing a match, she’s fine. It’s just practices that make her blood boil.
Her lips curl up into the sweetest of smiles. She’s the very picture of i n n o c e n c e, but they both know better. Marlene wasn’t one to take a prank lightly. She and Dorcas might’ve wreaked their havoc on the boy’s dormitory but they couldn’t prove a thing.
”I have no idea what you’re going off about.”
"Yeah, right. I feel like we should make an alliance.“
Well, he’s impressed and he doesn’t want his room to get trashed again.
